Mike and Tara’s Fence — imperfect perfection
Last year, my neighbor was replacing their cedar panel fence. It was bound for the town dump, but I decided to repurpose it. After carefully breaking down the planks and removing nails and hardware, I cut off wood rot and standardized the planks to a common length. I built the carcass from cedar 2x4’s and clad it with the repurposed cedar fence planks. There were enough planks for two planters with plenty to spare for another project. And, true to form, I failed to take enough photos of the build.
The next project is Sean and Tracy’s fence. It’s another cedar fence, but we’re building an outdoor bar for their poolside cabana.
